Science Technician – (Term Time +10 Days)
NJC Scale 4 (£20,903 - £24,491 FTE)
(Pro-rata actual £18,761 – £22,169)

35 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.15pm

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and suitably experienced Science Technician to join a thriving team of science professionals, starting in September 2021. 

Calderstones has excellent science facilities with 15 purpose built laboratories, all linked to their own preparatory room.

The successful candidate will need a sound background in the sciences supported by a relevant degree, a good working knowledge of ICT and the ability to prepare equipment for KS3 and KS4 classes; experience at ‘A’ Level would be an advantage.  Reporting to the Senior Science Technician, you will assist in co-ordinating the use of resources and provide assistance in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum.
