Year 10/11 GCSE Students visit RAF Barracks 

A selection of Year 10 & 11 GCSE Food and Nutrition students were lucky enough to attend a event at the Royal Air Force Barracks in Aintree during the week.  At the event they were introduced to how food in prepared in the RAF and what a RATION pack is. They were asked to design meals based on the basic items found in the ration packs and were then aloud prepare some food. 

The students were shown around the site and received a talk on the career path of joining the RAF, they explained the pay, accommodation, benefits and holidays available.
