'Black Tommies' - Visit from Dr Ray Costello to speak with Year 8 students.

Year 8 students got to hear about black soldiers that fought in the First World War. Local author and historian Dr Ray Costello introduced students to information about a number of black soldiers that fought, and discussed how he was able to research and find out about the lesser known subject of black soldiers in World War One.

Ray has written a number of books including Black Tommies and the year 8 students really enjoyed the informative talk.
