Sparx Learning
At Calderstones School, we use Sparx Learning across English, Maths and Science to support students with their learning and provide regular opportunities to practise and consolidate the knowledge and skills they develop in lessons.
Sparx provides students with online homework tailored to their learning. Activities are designed to reinforce classroom teaching, allowing students to practise key topics and build their understanding and confidence over time. Sparx also provides helpful resources and guidance within activities to support students when they need additional help.
Regular practice through Sparx helps students revisit important knowledge, strengthen their understanding and identify areas that may need further work. By using Sparx across English, Maths and Science, students have a consistent and familiar way of accessing homework and supporting their learning in these core subjects.
Teachers can monitor students' homework completion and progress through Sparx, helping them recognise where students are doing well and where further support may be useful. Parents and carers may also receive summary emails from Sparx providing an update on their child's homework progress and completion.
Students can access Sparx by simply using the 'Log in with Google' button on the login page:
